I get this error statement.
Unable to connect to Beacon, the API does not exist.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Upgrade to the latest 11.1 - it's a release candidate, so almost ready for prime time.
There's a new option to reset the beacon, give that a try and let me know.
I need to know what events are causing the Beacon API to become unregisterable, so please let me know whatever you find...
Thanks,

Ok, This is wierd
I had 11.0, and the TIVO support was broken for me ever since I installed it over 10.0
Then I downloaded 11.1, installed over 11.0, and TADA! the tivo support worked again. Flawless.
So I rebooted my machine (had to replace the battery in a UPS). and when It came back up, no more tivo <grrr>
I was getting this "TIVO Beacon API not registered" or some such.
Tried uninstalling everything twice. Then uninstalled, cleaned the reg of anything with MC, still no good.
Finally, I browsed to the "Media center 11/plugins" dir, saw the TIVOBEACONAPI.DLL file and registered it.
Restarted MC and it seems to have come back up (maybe your install isn't set to register that DLL for some reason)
Still testing, I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for the info... you might try the Reset Beacon option in the Options too.
