Not a big deal really, but I just did a clean install (including reformatting the hard drive) on my audio PC of MC 11.1, and it opened OK. Next day it said the 30 day trial had run out.
I was going to buy it anyway, so I just unstalled MC11.1, reinstalled MC 10, did a license restore, re-installed MC11.1 (which still said the 30 day trial had run out), and then purchased a $26 upgrade.
And all is working fine, so no problem but just a little odd and wondering what could have caused this anomaly...

Wrong System Date, Maybe

Were you using an old build of MC 11.1 rather than the latest one from this board? I would guess that if you had a build from over a month ago, they might have an end-date hard coded into it (I've never let a non-released build go for over a month so I don't know).

wrong system date and/or a change of computer name are almost always at the bottom of "my trial expired early" problems.

Wrong system date it was! For some reason my computer decided it was 2003..... thanks for clearing that one up!
I am using the latest build, and it's not bad at all...
