Title: Upgrade from Media Jukebox
Post by: airrich on February 05, 2006, 01:14:53 pm
I was considering upgrading from Media Jukebox 8.0 to Media Center 11.1 because it appears that it can support the iPod. Is that correct?

Also, when and if I decide to upgrade, do I just lay on MC 11.1 over the MJ 8.0 or do I uninstall MJ 8.0 and then install MC 11.1?

One other question, does MC 11.1 have the same capabilities and more as MJ 8.0? Does it have the server function still?

Thanks!!!

Thanks for the feedback. However, I am still unclear about how to install. Do I overinstall MJ 8.0 or do I need to uninstall MJ 8.0 and then install MC 11.1? Thanks.

I am Unsure, For I Have not Used MJ In Many Years, At That Point You Could Just Install MC And It Would Use Update The Data Base.

You Need To Make Sure You backup your Current Library Because The Database Format Has Changed And You Can Not Go Back.
