Title: Picture but no video.

Hi there,

I have setup my laptop as a media center with V11 and have connected the s-video to the tv using an s-video to scart adapter and that works fine, nice puchy colours. The sound is conected to a sterio amp through the headphones socket on the laptop.

The problem is, everything is fine until i play video on the media center or through any other 3rd part app (including media centre). I get sound but the pivture is black on the tv but playing fine on the laptop screen.

I have tried DVD, Xvid, Divx. All codecs are installed fine, as i say they all play fine on the laptop screen just not on the tv.

I know its not media center with the problem but was wondering if anyone can shed some light onto this.

I had a similar problem once and found that I could get a picture on the TV if I chose the display mode that only output to the TV (not both PC and TV).
