Title: Apple iPod redetected
Post by: ahbrown41 on February 07, 2006, 06:13:43 am
It could be me but my IPOD just got added as "Apple Ipod (1)" even though I syncd every morning...  Now things are all messed up.

Now the new IPOD shows many songs as "Delete On Sync".  If I sort by artist, I seee that there is a song in queue and a song to be deleted.  The Song in queue has no name and the song to be deleted has a name.  All other attributes are the same so I think they are the same...

Bery Odd....

In MC's options, under handhelds, advanced, try redetect devices.

Tried that as well.  Perhaps I will reinitialize my IPOD and start from scratch.

Also as someone else mentioned that like me their MC duplicates podcasts and the audio podcasts have the video icon.

Will the addition of podcasts to the podcast section of a 5g be added in the final release.  Is Apple being difficult?

The files won't show up in the podcast section of an iPod.  We could do it, but you'd lose the ability to play consecutive podcasts.

Apple has never provided any help.

You cannot combine that with adding a playlist?

Could that be an option you could set?

How about the other issues?

Hmmmm well I'll let you know about reinitializing.  But I cannot help thinking something is wrong somewhere..
