Title: Anyone know how to convert movie file formats?

Hey, does anyone know how to convert .avi or .mov formats into mpg?  Is there some program I can download that will do that?

I'm unable to watch .avi videos on my comp, but it will play the sound.  Mediajukebox won't import my .mov files because realplayer says it can't play them, though I can play them with quicktime.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I want to get these films off my comp and free some space.

Sounds to me like you don't have the latest .avi codecs.

The last 4 or 5 builds of MJ play QT 6 and below.

Hmm, where could I download that MJ play QT thing?  I looked but couldn't find it...

And where can I download .avi codecs?

For all you video encode stuff the place is doom9 (.net IIRC)... Put the coffee on :)
