Title: X-10 plugins

It would seem the two X-10 plugins were written for another era. They only connect to serial devices. all the stuff today is USB. Does anyone have any information in this area?

I use a USB-serial converter that I got off eBay for pretty cheap.  Mine has 8 serial ports and works very well.  It's called an Edgeport I think.  I used to have a single Serial port from USB converter but it didn't work as well, and sometimes dropped out and had to be re-initialized.
