Is this possible with MC 10.0?

If so, how?

I have the stream playing via MC, but the Sound Recorder won't recognize it...

look at the source options available via your soundcard drivers settings.

If you have a "what you hear" option, that'll the job for you,

failing that, there is software out there that will help you achieve your goal.
