Title: MC 11.1 Podcast state
Post by: ahbrown41 on February 14, 2006, 08:19:47 am
Hello,
Would it be possible to maintain the state of podcasts and whether or not you listened to them across syncronization sessions with MC?

I am so glad you added this feature but state would make it much more useful.

 Thanks!

If this is not going to be in 11.1, can it at least be put in the queue for 11.2 or 12?

It would be useful so I can track what I have already heard.  It would also be the expected behavior I would think.

MC tracks the number of plays for all files.  You can use this in view schemes or smartlists.

Next to the podcast in MC there is a little circle that indicates whether you have played this file.  It ideal would be for this "state" to be maintained accross syncs.
So a file that I listen to should have the circle missing the next day after syncronization.  This would indicate to me that I have already listened to it.

Thanks again

This is the same podcast issue that I described in this thread:
