Title: Cookies & Podcasts
Post by: KingSparta on February 15, 2006, 11:25:04 am
When MC starts.

Two of the podcast sites request to save Cookies to a users drive

Like www.nature.com and BBC not sure why this is and what the cookies are for but i really don't think it should be allowed unless the user wants the podcast sites to save a cookie.

Strange.  I subscribe to three BBC podcasts and have never been asked to allow a cookie.  Maybe my firewall isn't as tied down as it should be, and the cookies are just being set anyway?

Most users who use the Microsoft default settings never see it.

Microsoft may change that since they are in what seems to be a security panic mode.

Windows Defender Beta 2 - (Name Changed From Microsoft Anti-Spy) was released the other day. and windows Onecare has been out for a bit longer.
