Will there be a plugin in the future that will enable lightscribing of track lists straight out of media center?
Thanks
TC

That looks really clever!
Do the LightScribe drives just appear as a printer driver?
-
It would be nice if J river includes Light Scribe In The Future, I do not see this as a 3rd party plug-in
I am not sure if J river can get a driver from light scribe to drive the printing, maybe

That would be awesome. I just got a new HP laptop with lightscribe and would love to be able to use MC to burn lightscribe CD's.

Yup i just got a benq lightscribe dvd burner, the thing is freakin awesome.
I can now archive 96 mp3 albums to one dual layer dvd and then of course lightscribe a awesome graphic on the disc.
Or burn about 7 mp3 albums worth to a standard cd, lightscribe it and then play it in my mp3 compatiable car stereo head end unit (which i plan to buy shortly) for about 7 hours of continuous music.

How long does the drawing take?
-
And how much do the discs cost? Or can any discs be used?
-
The image burn takes about 20 minutes.
To do lightscribing you need three things:
1. A burner that has lightscribe technology
2. lightscribe software, it can be obtained free at lightscribe.com
3. lightscribe media discs, currently about 90 cents a piece.

I would LOVE a LightScribe plugin or a way easily export the label info to an label program

They have to be Lightscribe discs - I get mine from dabs at about £4 for 10, and use Nero to "print". No colour, but they still look great.
If I burn, say 8 albums for the MP3 player in the car, I'll print all the cover art on the disc - takes about 20 minutes. Printing a small amount of text tho only takes a minute or so.
