I think I figured it out. and have come across a bug.
I had 2 NEC drives, 2mb Cache and Noisy.... Installed 2 Plextor Drives, 8mb Cache and quiet.
When I went to Rip, it said determining Cache size. Then started. When it failed, I looked in options - Advanced Ripping Options, and it was still seeing the NEC.
When MC analyzed the new drives, it started to rip before it changed that, SO it got confused and died.
I restarted MC, and now in the Options it see's the Plextor Drive... Make sence?
Oh and the speed I get with these drives is amazing!
