Title: List what's in library and not on iPod

Is the above doable, ie the ability to display all the files that are in my Media Library but not on my iPod? :)

Change your sync setting to "All files and playlists".  Then look at the iPod.  Any file marked "In Queue" is not on the iPod.

One thing that makes this easier for me (suggested by someone else on this board a while back) is to add a custom field called iPod (I also have one called Media Connect to manage files for my Windows Media Connect share folder for the XBox 360).  Then use smartlist(s) to control which files get synced.  Currently I have the following 'values' in that field:

Include
Exclude
Always Exclude (for songs that I really NEVER want)
Album Include (short songs/segments that I don't care for alone but are part of the flow of a full album)
Duplicate (same song in the library more than once, or different versions of the same song that I don't want on the iPod)
Christmas Include
Christmas Exclude (these two are for the holiday season)

I have the various excludes because my MC library is a full backup of my CD's, and there are some albums/songs that I just don't care to have with me.

Using a custom field with smartlist(s) makes it very easy to manage.
