I do not find the new randomizer to be as helpful as the old one.
True, last time, when you randomized, it would keep the first track in the same spot. That was kinda annoying.
Under the old random, when I was playing a song, I put the currently playing song at the top of the playlist and then hit random. This would shuffle all the tracks below, making a nice way to mix up the tracks coming up while not bugging the song currently playing.
The new one, when randomizing, has the currently playing icon next to a song that that is not currently playing. That does not help me at all.
To get the best of both worlds (for me), I suggest making it act as it currently does when a song is not playing, but act like it used to when it is playing.
OK, so I know it might not happen because it may be harder to program, but that's OK. I can live with either one.
And, btw, thanks for making the greatest media player software ever!

Dan,
How about seeing if you can get MJ fans all together, doing the Wave here, and agree on what shuffle should do. Should be easy, right?
Let us know when they are all steppin' out together now.
Listening to: 'IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR' from '60s SOUL' by 'Various Artists' on Media Jukebox
James Brown? Curtis Mayfield? I'm all mixed up now.

Jim,
No, I didn't expect that at all. I was just putting in my two cents.
Again, thanks for the great software!

You mean there is way to shuffle tracks with a click of the mouse? And to think, all this time I was whacking the crap out of the hard drive with my framing hammer. Worked like a charm once everything settled down.
Boy, it just goes to show how informative this forum can really be.

Got a peckered thumb now?
Thanks for the good laugh!
So, uh, Mike, hey can I get an undercover tour of headquarters? I'll put on a belt.

Got a peckered thumb now?
Only when it gets caught in all them dang wires in there. You got to know when to let go at just the right second. 25 ounces of steel at the end of an 18 handle can really mess ya up. Estimated head speed-300 mph. Could be slower, but it sure feels that fast when ya get drilled.

You know Jim, if you just threw on a hardhat and wandered aimlessly you'd fit right in. Building 1 might be a little tougher, they are close to finishing that one. But 4, where I am, is in the usual state of chaos associated with construction. 4, btw, is right on the corner of 76 and Penn.
Have not personally been in any of the other buildings. But they are close to the same in the way they are designed.

OK, I'll see if I can find a really ugly hat and then come asking for you. I have an X10 camera I need to install.
