Title: Language support not working

5. Changed: Improved translation system for menus and toolbars so that user-text (like artists, albums, etc.) won't get translated.

Translation is not working anymore here now!

I even tried it on a complete new installed XP. Copying any of the german language.txtsto a custom resources folders doesn't have any effect, MC stays english. I also tried to rename the new Language.txt (new) to Language.txt, nothing changed.

Even copying the translated file directly to default resources doesn't translate the application ;(

Please check this,

This works for me.  Try an Explorer search for language.txt.  You may have two install locations.

The language system changed many builds ago.

Look here:
MC\Data\Languages\[Insert Language Here]

You pick a language from the Tools menu in the program.

Thanks Matt, your tip solved this. I didn't realize the change yet, what a shame. my last installations was build 113.

Anyway, in the new setting, I think that the language.txt in default resources is obsolete, no?

Just another question: There are two TXT files per each language. Are both of them used? Or do I have to  rename the (new) one to use it instead of the other one? What's the difference (besides size)??

Thanks again

Old language files in the resource folder are obsolete.

There should only be one "Language.txt" file in each language folder.  I'm not sure what the other file is.

Wow, that was a fast reply!

Well, there are always two files in each folder:

Language.txt
Language.txt (new).txt

Second one is always bigger.

Anyone can clear this up?

Thanks
