Hi all bought media center
but what i dont like is playing music vids through quicktime i prefer media player is there any way to use media player and not quick time

What kind of files are they?  MOV files will play in MC11.0 or 11.1.

Mp4 files i have for ipod is it possable to select windows media player

MC 11.1 can play your mp4 files without QuickTime.

Look in Options > Playback > DirectShow Options > Try using DirectShow for playback of mp4 media

sorted now ! more question in itunes all my music vids are thumbnaileed ie all got artwork
in media center only about 6 have
any ideas please

Try
Tools->Options->Tree and View->Thumbnails->Build Missing Thumbnails
