Title: All my viz are gone! (Solved)

Argh!

All my options within Player > Display Options are gone! They disappeared a while ago, but I didn't reflect on it. I can only display in fullscreen (showing cover art when possible), but G-force, 3d vis and Track Info is unavailable....not even showing in any menu. Only Cover Art :(
Now I have reinstalled (uninstalled the previous version first) MC with the latest (.130) but it didn't repair it.

Anyone know what could be happening?

ATI 9600 card, AMD64 processor...

You need to be playing audio through the native engine to get visualizations. (MP3, WAV, APE, OGG, DirectShow types, etc.)  Try an MP3 and APE file as a simple test.

If you're using MP4, you can tell MC to use DirectShow filters (if you have them) so it also goes through the native engine.

I'm only playing MP3's, I don't even own any APE or MP4 files...

You should have the options available when you right-click the display during playback:

However, Marty3d is right.

I noticed that the Player > Display menu does not allow changing the display mode. It has options only for the currently selected mode. In this screenshot an mp3 file is playing and the display is set to "Cover Art":

Hi Marty,

In those screenshots, nothing is playing. (since Stop is disabled)

Play an MP3 and then check again while audio is playing.

Of course it works! It must have been a combination of previous experienced bugs , re-installation of the latest MC version and a whole lot of alcohol that made me miss it. (Even though I think one should be able to choose a viz without playing something...at least grey the items out instead of hiding them...)
