I purchased version 8 a few weeks ago because my hard drive crashed and I lost my version 7 ID #.
Any chance I could trade my version 8 purchase and go back to version 7? I have had quite a few problems which I can't seem to work out. I am not a computer expert plus I don't have alot of time to work through this forum for each error message I get with version 8.
JRiver...could I get my version 7 back? I really liked it.

J river cannot re-Issue version 7 licenes, and that is in the FAQ along with "Back It Up"
A backup of your registration would have prevented your problem.

you may still have problems
If you did not buy a new Hard drive you may want to do that, windows XP fixes most problems with the older MS Operating Systems

;D Finding this has made my day, thanks to your new-style forums. I posted several times in the old one cos MJ 8 wouldn't unzip [Win 98 & older video card], then about my latest woe when MJ 7.2 wouldn't play audio CD's [runtime error].
Now MJ 7.2 is working again, I realise it isn't supported, but this has spared me from re-inst MMJB, I'm RAPT!!
Don't want to push my luck, but until I can afford to upgrade my system - can anyone help me find the Ape plug-in for MJ 7.2?
