Title: MC11 and WinMCE

I know this is kind of a strange question, but does anyone have any experience running MC on a Media Center PC?  Will they play nicely together, or would I be better off just using XP Pro on the machine?

Runs perfectly. The MCE remote also works perfectly w/ MC 11.1 now (added support a while back).

I wish I could help more, do you have any specific questions?

Nahh. I've never used MS MCE before, so I don't really know what to expect.  I notice that it is CHEAPER than XP pro, which gives me pause . . .

I just don't want to give up MC. Guess I'll take the plunge.  These core duo's are just too tempting.    ;D

My MC11.1 runs on Windows XP Media Center Edition without any problems.

The only thing you have to be aware of: With the new Windows Vista there won't be any special MCE any longer. It will be fully integrated in Vista.
