Title: JRiver server access problem

I'm having trouble connecting with server for yadb tag info, and for mp3 encoder install package.  Reason unknown, invalid package file.  I'm using win98se.  If I reinstall, I'm concerned I'll use up another key.  I've used 2 already just getting started (no doubt my fault).  Also, mc10 often says it performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.  I disabled spybot.  Thanks.

Same with 11.1: unable to contact and download the mp3 encoder

It's most likely to be a firewall problem or similar on your PC or network.  Check some of these posts:
