Yes. I was wondering if it's been implemented within MC at all? Maybe a timed thing or on launch, if it doesn't take too long?

I don't think it is going to be in 11.1

in the auto import thread they never commented on it maybe they droped plans for it.

I put my free plug-in Auto Import back up for download on my site

This is the thing. I downloaded the plugin some time ago and beyond seeing it in my Plugin Manager I never understood how you configure it.
