Hello!!
I donīt speak english. I speak more last (or bad). OK?
Iīm from Brazil. Ok?
I like very much Media Center. I take version free. Verygood.
But:
the version 11.0: Internal Volume: itīs hight (verygood)
Version 11.1.x.x internal volume: low
Why?
Solution?
Do you understand? Im sorry. I donīt speak english. :-[ but .....

Double click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your desktop. Check the levels for Wave and Master Volume.

Have you found the internal volume control as shown above,
by clicking the speaker icon?

I see the same problem, bear with me here:
rhinobanga's playingnow plugin has the ability to annonce the currently playing track using PC speech.
if a tracks intro is loud, it drowns out the announcement.
if you use the internal volume option, the plugin can lower the track volume while the announcement is made, then restore the volume to its original level.
I would use this but for the fact that the volume is generally far too low when using the internal option. master and wave out set to max levels in driver settings.
also, to my ears, I felt that audio quality was also seriously impaired when using the internal option.
I don't have a solution, nor the experience to know if that's an unavoidable limitation of the 'internal volume' option?

Try uninstalling the Nvidia software you're showing, or changing its settings.
