Hi,
Would it be possible for you guys to add a remote control command to do a discrete Pause? The current method of pausing is by toggling the "Play" button.
My HomeAutomation system has no way of knowing if MC is already playing or not. So sending a Play/Pause IR signal often doesn't have the desired effects.
Please?? If you add it, I'll send you guys a pizza. ;D

MC used to have separate pause and play/stop buttons. :(
-
Until I can get out of proc working with C# that's not going to work,
someone else may have better luck though.
Thanks for the offer but won't do me any good anyway. The HomeAutomation system is not integrated into the PC. It just blasts an IR Pause signal. Also, need the Pause capability built in to MC because the novice user (spouse, etc) picks up the remote control and constantly asks "why doesn't the pause button work?" ;)

There's a pizza in it for you guys if you get this added. ;D

Command line to toggle pause:
MC11.exe /MCC 10022,-1

Oooooook, how do I get this added to the remote control commands, under Options->Remote control ?

Ask nicely ;)
(we'll try to add it next build -- just remind us if we forget)

Sorry I didn't realize this, but the command is already there:
Options > Remote Control > Add (command) > Pause
