Title: Shadow Drop effect, i am missing something

I love the new "floating" thumbnail look with the drop shadow, but i do have a question, is the shadow drop always black?, I have noticed that it doesn't really show against a dark skin only against light skins, this basically cuts our skin selecton in half.

I am using opus mc (blue) mega skin with the floating thumbnails and drop shadow from mc11 version 143, it is a awesome look in my opinion, very neat and very clean.

I agree, I think.  I use "Aruba" with the negative effect.  This makes a midnight blue background.  I would expect to see a drop "highlight", when the shadow obeys the negative effect within a skin.

Oh we get em round here all the time.  Apparently we used
to get black shadows, but well you know how it goes, the white
shadows moved in started taking over. 
Now the black shadows are making a stand,
they're fed up of being left in the shade.

HA!...yes i remember watching that series, ppl with funky names like salami.
