Title: Clear Playing Now on Exit?
Post by: Goslinged on September 21, 2002, 05:32:03 am
Is there any setting in MJB8 that will allow this action?  I often send playlists to MJB via desktop shortcuts and the MJB shell integration, but they won't play immediately if the playlist wasn't cleared before I last exited MJB.  I've been clearing Playing Now manually before exiting MJB, but if I can set this as a default action, that would be nice.

mjextman.exe /Clear [mode] clears Playing Now playlist.  If mode is empty, all items will be removed. If mode is DontRemoveCurrent, currently playing file will not be removed.

Would something like this work?

mjextman.exe /Clear [mode] /Close

I don't know much about commands and switches.
What little experience I have is with LAME paramaters.
Only kinda/sorta get the idea, so please excuse if the question itself comes across kinda/sorta lame  ;)

Thanks for your input.
Cheers, Ed.
