Title: A few good podcasts
Post by: JimH on March 20, 2006, 03:29:34 pm
Here's a page we're experimenting with.  The advantage is that you can subscribe to podcasts in MC with a single click.

[Edit to direct to an index page]

Check your file associations in MC and set MC to own the podcast file types.

Your recommendations are always appreciated.

I think there are just too many podcasts for you to be able to start your own directory.  I'm not a big fan of iTunes (it's seems too hard to get listed), but podcastalley.com, ipodder.org, or podcast.net seem to work well.

Perhaps instead of you all (JRiver) choosing what get's listed, each MC user could upload their favorite feeds and you could aggregrate them and publish them along with the number of votes (i.e. how many users have sent you the feed).  Of course, I'd suggest OPML as the way to export and upload...

There are a couple spots open.  Any ideas?

The title of the new Music page still says "Best News Podcasts" which doesn't make much sense.

I always wondered what the Piano Jazz lady looked like.  Now I know, but I'm not really surprised.

i was just wondering why is there so much white space at the bottom.

I had to look at the page code to see if there was a secret easter egg.

nothin explained the white space however.

not sure why the < pre> < /pre> tag was in there other than to preserves both spaces and line breaks.

the secret goes un-discovered.

oh, ok

well the good news today is I got another commendable inspection, 8 in 8 years.

So I guess I get to keep my job for another year.

The other manager (the 10th in 8 years) decided to discover other outside opportunities.
