Title: Can MC integrate remote drives?

I know MC can handle mapped drives on a LAN but what about over the internet through routers and firewalls. I assume this is more of an OS issue? Being able to map a drive over the internet etc. ? I may setup a computer at my parents house & I'm curious if I could map it so as to integrate it into my library as opposed to utilizing the Library Server.
