Title: Video Cover Art filename issues.
Post by: plastic on March 25, 2006, 01:39:27 am
Currently loading into the library my collection of videos.

Video cover art gets saved (in my case in D:/cover art) with a default filename of - 1_08_2006.jpg or similar, seemingly according to the date the .avi or .mpg file was last modified.

Is there any way to specify some other naming convention, i.e. [artist]-[album] like happens with audio?

Because when I have two video files with the same date last modified, Mediacenter always gives them the same cover art. And if I'm ripping 10 DVDs a day, I've got a problem.

Whoops...just worked it out...all my videos seem to have the date last modified loaded as their album name, which i only found on closer inspection of the tag info window.

All sorted with a bit of renaming!
