Hi!
I`m relatively new to J River. I have this following problem: every day or so I'm adding music to my collection (currently has over 500 mp3s). It's becoming more and more difficult to organize this collection because I don't know which song belongs to which playlist.
Is there a way I could filter out the music which was already assigned to a playlist? This way I'm left out with only the unassigned mp3s.
I noticed there are over 40-50 filters but none of them deals with "sort by playlist". Any ideas on how to organize my collection in an easier way?
Thanks!

You can make a smartlist that excludes the selected playlists:
- right-click the Playlists branch in the MC tree and select Add Smartlist (shortcut: F9)
- give it a name (and optionally a group)
- Smartlist Rule:, click the Advanced buttom , click the drop-down list arrow
- select Playlist...
- tick the playlist names you like to exclude and select "Exclude" in "Do what with the selections:"
You can edit the smartlist rule later if you like to exclude additional playlists.

Thanks! That's what I was looking for.
