Every time I reinstall Media Center I go through the same quandry: How do I make the now playing come up automatically (with the album cover) when I double click on a song. Anybody?

Options > General > Jump On Play
-
Tools->Options->General->Behavior
Set "Double Click" to "Replace Playing Now (single)" or "Replace Playing Now (all)"
Set "Jump on play" to "Playing Now (always)"
Once you have a song playing and are in Playing Now, set your visualization to "Cover Art"
Are you saying that everytime you uninstall MC and then reinstall you have to do this? Or every time you install a new build over the one that was there? If you're only installing a new build over an existing build, these settings shouldn't be changed. If you're uninstalling, make sure that you tell the uninstaller not to remove all of the registry entries. I've never had to go back and reset all my settings unless I uninstalled and told MC to remove all registry entries.
