Title: Cannot PLAY DVD files (VOB) on client from server.

Hello,

I tried to find a solution by searching the forum but there seems to be no solution I can find. However other people have got this pronlem too.

Since I based all my hifi and video on this it should work fine because I spend a lot of money on 10 HD and a new PC that I use as a server for mainly all this stuff. I finally want to add all my images but I think that MC should be better equiped for this. (I'm also waiting for the DVD/Video to be extended for my needs like input for director/players etc.)

I can play my .ape files, mp3 through the library server/client. But when I double click a DVD file it gives me:
Media Center encountered errors while trying to play the last several files.
Please make sure that the path in your media library points to the right location.

Could somebody help me out here, either by stating that this problem is still not solved or HOW to solve it...

Hi Theo,

This does not work currently. DVD playback is not under our control, and it doesn't handle the URLs Library Server uses.
