Title: Problem with ripping from multiple cds simultaneously
Post by: mageeol on April 08, 2006, 12:09:36 pm
I'm having a problem with 11.1.161 that I didn't have with the previous official release of 11.1 (I'm not using the daily builds).  I have 2 cdrom drives that I like to rip from simultaneously.  I have auto-rip mode enabled, eject-on-complete enabled, but I do not have rip-and-encode simultaneously (I had stability problems with the earlier 11.1 release when I tried that).  Anyway, when I insert CDs, the rips proceed as they should.  However, once the second rip has completed, things go awry.  One of the CD drives starts ejecting and reloading--if I don't stop it, it will start a rip again.  It seems that every time one of the ripped songs completes encoding, then the CD drive ejects and reloads.

This is a very annoying problem, since it effectively prevents me from using 2 drives for ripping simultaneously.

This is fixed in the latest build (11.1.171).
