Title: Improvement to panes/search

I like the 'Click here to reset selection' link that appears - could another one be added to clear the current search? Yes, I really am too lazy to click in the search box and press delete everytime :P

Yeah, a little button beside the search bar which cleared it and automatically gave it focus would be great; probably won't happen with 11.1, though...
