I've updated the french langage.txt (from v11.1.169).
It can be found here : http://mario.bross.free.fr/MCStuffs/Language.txt
I've also noticed some small problems :
- Image file selection dialog : "Select image file" and "preview" texts aren't translable
- Import dialog > "Update" and "Seek" spaces are way too small. Please reduce the line length to fit the remaining space left AFTER inserting the text
- "and will attempt to load the %s library. "
"et va tenter de charger la médithèque %s."
-> %s becomes "previously selected" which don't fit well with "et va tenter de charger la médithèque"
Don't know if %s can be something else? if it's not the case I can remove %s and put the correct traduction.
PS :
- Where can I possibly post future updates?
- I've removed the "Quitter ... toi?" and replaced it bye a simple "Quitter" , the same goes for "Halte la!" which was replaced by "Stop". It was funny.. but after a while didn't sound serious :)

The latest build (1.171) include updates which seems to be made by "Jean-Marc" (and includes none of my modifications).
Is there a forum where we (french users of MC) can work together to acheive a better translation ?
(I searched and don't see any). I would like to help if it is possible... without wasting my time :P
Thanks, David.

You could do it right here.
In some cases, we may need to offer two versions of a language. American English and British English, for example.

Bonjour David
Nous avons essayé hier avec l'aide de Matt de te donner une réponse via ta messagerie.
Hélas, ton adresse courriel, connue de JRiver ne semble plus être valide...
Peux-tu, si besoin, la corriger sous ton pseudo CDvd ?
D'avance merci
Jean-Marc

Actually, the translations could very well have a separate forum. It would keep all translation threads in one place and not too far away. In the main MC forum even relatively new replies can be quickly several pages away. The translators could exchange ideas and integrate their work easier in a separate forum.

I totally agree with Alex on that. The work left for a good and complete translation is so... BIG !!

Ok c'est fait Jean Marc! My email is now updated (and I made it visible to all, I think it will easier this way).
David.
