is it possible to use the bookmark feature of podcasts with other files?

In 11.1, you need to set the Genre to Podcast to enable bookmarks on the iPod.

In a future version, we may add bookmark support as a separate field that can be set for any file.  Then MC and the iPod would honor this setting.

Interesting, would like several bookmarks to be allowed /file. A way to set cue points in radio mixes.

I hate to have to lump all types of files into Podcasts just to get this.

I had mentioned Audiobooks, Comedy etc...

At the least, it would be great to have the same bookmark effect for other genres.

Obviously it would be better to set it on any type of file like Itunes does (which by the way has long been uninstalled from my pc).
