Title: Nano Problem.. Where'd the tunes go?
Post by: Demon48 on April 18, 2006, 10:04:49 am
I had been using my nano 4G without a hitch til very recently.  MC was always able to find/play/sort everything on the Nano fine...  Now, for no apparent reason, while the Nano works fine as a freestanding player, MC only finds a small percentage of the total tracks, even though it identifies the same number of tracks as Nano...  Any ideas?

Thanks in advance...

Are you using other software with the same nano?

You may need to start over.  Here's more info that may help:

If you have installed iTunes, it runs a couple of programs in the background, even if you don't use it.

Don't use iTunes...

Further mystery - The track total, as I said in my first post, is the same in Nano and MC...  The number is the MC count, which is drastically low...  in other words, Nano thinks it only has a fraction of the true (easily accessible in Nano) total number of tracks.
