When i insert a CD, I get this message "Medical Center has detected a new CD in drive E: but can't get the correct volume information. Please try ejecting and reinserting CD." I have tried ejecting and reinserting the cd as well as tried other cd's and I get the same message. I am running version 11.175. Please assist me in this matter. Thank You

Medical Center
I think that was a TV show back in the 60's and 70's
Airs Next: CBS at Wednesday 9:00 PM (60 min.)
Status: Ended Premiered: September 24, 1969
Show Category: Drama
Located in Los Angeles, Medical Center was based on the lives of Doctors as well as patients. Dr. Paul Lochner was the chief of staff, Dr. Joe Gannon was the professor of surgery and a close colleague to Dr. Lochner. At the time Medical Center was the longest running Medical drama in the history of prime time.

Yes Medical Center was originally broadcast before CDs were even invented. Maybe that's why it has trouble reading them?

Hopefully Sparta will volunteer to write a time-travel plugin. If so, I'd hop aboard and take a quick decade off, or even just last week, or next week.

but can't get the correct volume information. Please try ejecting and reinserting CD
sometimes you will get this message when disks are scrached, or dirty
see if other media players give some what the same message, and try cleaning the CD

I see this frequently when another program is accessing the CD-ROM drive at the same time as MC. I use EAC to rip at the same time I have MC open to add a Reference ID to the CD info. Sometimes MC will not be able to read the disk, and I have to quite EAC and have MC retry the read. Upon re-launch of EAC, MC will read fine until sometime later when it fails. I have yet to determine exactly what's causing the problem. Seems finicky.
