Title: The best way of sorting collection albums in library?

I have about 10 000 tracks, 240 artists og 700 albums in my library. The albums contains ONLY one artist or two artists singing together etc.

Now I'm about to add collection albums, such as Cafè del mar to my library, wich often contains lots of various artists. If I add this collections to my library without any special system, my artist number will explode. I don't really fancy that.

Only thing I can think of is to set the artist field as "various artists" or something similar. But that will make the search a little difficult I guess. Need a good system one to complement my perfectly tagged library with rating, genre, sub genre tag etc. etc.

Anyone have a good idea for this? Any comments are welcome!

MC has an excellent built-in system for handling various artists albums.

Even if you use the built-in Album Artist (Auto) option, your number of artists will still get really big. So just use Album Artist (Auto) instead of Artist.
