Title: Removing tracks from 'Playing Now'
Post by: dlone on April 30, 2006, 11:57:18 am
Could the wording be changed for the context menu on the 'playing now' page please?

'Delete' just sounds too drastic !
How about 'Remove track from playlist' or similar ?

One other bad thing is that it makes picking 'Delete' do different things depending on where you are - not really a good thing  ;)
As a new user i'm never quite sure what's going to happen  ;D

p.s., As an aside, and total wideball....

Love this program!
But, i'd love it even more if it could use a proper sql database for all the data and thumbnails (even Jet would be ok for up to a 2Gig library)
And i'd know what i was doing programming against it :)
I HATE ole and interfaces  ;D

yep, hitting "delete" to remove a file from playing now is a teeth-clenching thing, I second this suggestion

I've just realised that this is also the case in all playlists not just Playing Now. I think an additional 'Remove from Playlist' menu item would be less nerve racking.

Yep, this is a very good suggestion. I remember the first time I wanted to remove a song from Playing Now. I had to make a backup of the file before I was brave enough to try it, even if I already suspected that it would work as it does :-)

Thanks!

I always felt funny being worried about this - even though I knew how it worked.

Glad I'm not alone....
