Title: Left and Right click on Speaker Button and Trackbar has the same function why?
Post by: bytestar on May 05, 2006, 02:31:43 pm
Why has the the left click and the right click on the trackbar the same function.
Before was it possible with a left click directly into the alternative display mode to switch.

Now that cannot be done any longer, it appears always the right-click menu.
The same applies to the Speaker Button it appears always the right-click menu.

Before was it like that...
Doubly left click on Trackbar = alternative display mode
Left click on Speaker Button = tone off/muted.

Please fix it.

Copied from build thread:

This is by design.  It still may be too hard to find this menu. (we were recently getting dissed by an experienced user for not having a way to turn off the spectrum analyzer -- which is in this menu, but shows that perhaps we didn't make it clear enough)

Sorry. however so which stupid I have never heard.

Right-click on Speaker has also the same function as left-click.
Thus who with the left and right click do not understood... sorry.

Those are logical functions there everyone understands.
Unfortunate that JRiver thereafter acts.

In nearly each Player these logical functions included
Only unfortunately no more in mc.

Which has that the Speaker Button with TRACK bar to do
because is there it also so.

That is in each program like that,
right-clicks = options and not the left-click.

Sorry wrongly expressed, I meant to be called like these.

I found the old way better, but it does not help to talk about it.

No functions have been removed.

It's always a balancing act.  In this case, we felt making the menu easier to find was more important than preserving a super-quick way to toggle the display mode.

Hopefully it won't bother you too much.
