Which version of LAME does MC11 use for encoding mp3s?

3.97b2 I believe.

To be exact, MC11.1 uses LAME 3.97b2. MC11.0 used LAME 3.96.1.

In any case MC uses a standard lame.exe file so it is possible to change the version by replacing the file in the plugins folder if needed.
