Hi,
Is there a way that I could set a specific frame of a video file to be the thumbnail for that file in MC views?

Yes. Play the video, pause it at the frame you want, right-click and choose "Use screen grab for thumbnail"

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. It's an AVI video file. Pausing the play gives me the option to grab the screen for thumbnail but when the option is selected it does nothing. Have refreshed the view when it finished to play and also went to Library to see the file, but it still has the old thumbnail.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work here. I'm probably doing something wrong.

In "playing now" I can do it, but not in fulscreen...
