I know I must be missing something simple, but how do you determine the size or time of a playlist as it is being built (in other words, a running total)? Thanks for any help, Chuck. :)
-
If you pick the playlist in the tree, it'll show the summary in the statusbar at the bottom. (this information isn't currently visible in the "Build Playlist" Action Window)
-
It sure would be helpful if there was a way of showing the running time of a playlist. Maybe as part of the playlist window or an additional column (even better). In the meantime, I guess I have to continue to use a calculator.
-
Again, running time is displayed in the statusbar when you pick a playlist. (or whenever you pick files)
-
Yeah, but as soon as you highlight a particular song then you only see the time for that song and you then have to go all the way to the bottom of the list to click on an empty space to "un"-highlight the song to get the to total time again, (PIA).
A column in the pane for total time would be so much better. You would see what the the accumulative time would be after each track was added:
Trk Name Duration Artist Album Year Total Time

I don't mean to be irritable, but....
avaiable in the status bar, yes, so long as it's not proclaiming "saving tag changes (1 remaining)"
[shrugs]

OK, thanks for the quick responses. I'm really surprised this is not a part of the building playlist action window. Maybe this will be incorporated in a future version. :(

We never sleep! ;D.....and maybe it will, (hint, hint). :)

Great! You guys have got to be the most responsive developers to your users needs. :-*

So....modelmaker, did I hear you volunteer? ;)
