Hi all!
Beeing new in this forum, i hope i dont ask something "everyone" know ::)
Have recently bought MC11 and am getting more and more impressed with it's features. Today i tested out the library server from work, and find it quite brilliant. But i do miss a feature to upload or sync changes (especially in playlists) i have made on my remote computer.
Or is it possible in some way i have missed? And not by exporting and emailing and etc. Only in some easy way.
Thanks in advance.

Library server is currently read-only, apart from playstats (ie. last played time, number of plays get updated on server)

How do you get to MC from work? Please give a quick runthrough of the setup.

Check the Help file for "Library Server". It should give you a good start. You'll probably want to set MC to convert. That's set on the client side.
You'll need to allow inbound access to your PC on whatever port you choose so that means an opening in your firewall. Routers have the ability to forward certain ports to the right PC -- it's often named "games" something.
Trying it between two PC's on your home LAN first might be a good idea.

another tip is to set LS to run on a specific port, then allow traffic through that port in your firewall...after reinstalling my firewall, I had a looong day at work without MC. Never again :)

It can also be smart to use the default port (80) if you do not need it for a web server. My experience is that it is more likely to be allowed thru proxies and firewalls, if your work use such (which they probaly do...).
But is there a way to specify proxy in LS? Mine seem to use the IE proxy, but i need it to use some other. And because of logonscripts on work, it always resets IE proxy upon restart.

Library Server only looks at the IE Proxy settings.
