Title: Resume Playback
Post by: dlone on May 10, 2006, 03:05:09 pm
As you all know, audio books are long - much longer than you you can listen to in one go
Usually you can pause MC and unpause it at a later time, but sometimes you HAVE to close MC (usually to reboot - thanks M$)

At the moment it means writing down how far you are through a track and seeking to that position
There must be a better way
For instance my PVR, dvd player etc offer the ability to resume playback from the last point you watched - a function much used by me

At the moment, it looks like audio and video tracks longer than 5 minutes haven't had that much consideration

Could this be looked at please ?

I'm fully agree...

JRiver Media Center has a lot of amazing functions, but the lack of resume playback or customizable bookmarks is quite unbelievable..

Maybe the authors are more concerned on topics requested by a greater number of user, or maybe I am not able to find the correct function. In this case, help would be very appreciate.

Thank you

Cheers Matt, I appreciate your consideration  :)
Not many developers are as helpful as you guys

Personally, I'm not sure how you put up with us!
We're always moaning, but I'm sure it's only because we're too butch and manly to just post a thread that thanks you for such a great program
