Title: "Sync Portable" rejecting FLAC files
Post by: yonkiman on May 11, 2006, 01:21:47 am
I'm using 11.1.183, and I'm trying to sync some FLAC files in playlist to my Rockbox/iPod (as far as MC is concerned it's just a removable hard drive).  It syncs MP3s OK, but rejects all my FLAC files saying they are unsupported.

I would guess there's a preference somewhere that says what filetypes my handheld can use, but I can't find it in Options/Handheld, where most of the handheld's options are configured...

Is it somewhere else?

Options > Handheld > Advanced Options > Files & Paths > Supported Types >

E.g. this string: mp3;ogg;flac would allow the mp3, ogg and flac file types without a file format conversion.
