With W2K or XP, you should be able to drop in two video cards, and it'll pretty much do the rest.  With other OS's, you'll need two-head cards and driver tricks.

Best of luck.

You can install two video cards and it can work in recent versions of Windows, but I don't remember which ones.  XP probably will work.

Try it.

Dual monitor support is available in Win98 or better.  You have several options.  You can add a second PCI card to an existing AGP card, or you can buy a card that supports dual monitors.  NewEgg.com has cards as low as $58 with dual support.  Make sure the card has a DVI jack in addition to the standard VGA jack.  Also make sure it comes with a DVI to VGA adapter.  ATI offers some nice software with many of their newer cards called Hydravision for added features.  A third option is to hook a TV to the S-video jack of your current card.  My ATI Radeon has this, and I am gonna pick up a 13" JVC flat-screen next week.  The image quality will be less, of course, but if you get a top-notch quality screen such as the JVC AV14F703 or a Sony WEGA, then it should look pretty decent.
