Title: Quick Question about zones

Can JRiver support two simultaneous but same type of audio signals such as a music CD in its drive being sent to one zone on the receiver while the other zone is receiving a FLAC file from the hard disk?

I figured that it can, but want to make sure.

Absolutely.  The number of zones supported is only limited by the number of outputs in your computer.
