Are you using a third party plug-in?  MusicLobby, NetRemote, Audioscrobbler, etc?  If so, please start a new thread.

no, not that i know of. and for sure i did not install one between this morning, when it worked and now. i have girder. but that is not the problem, is it? and it is strange that it is no problem when both playing nows are filled. and i switch with ctrl + T.

here are the last strings from the logfile before it died, as far as i understand what it mean.

BTW: i just reinstalled version 183, and the problem is gone.  :P

Would you mind reinstalling 184 to see if you get the same result?

i dont mind. and i did.
after the reinstall of 184 the problem reappeared.

remember that it is only when there is something playing in playing now in one zone and the playing now in the other zone is empty.

so i just rereinstalled 183 again, and again the problem is gone. so there is some difference between the files.  ;)

The log shows Girder-style commands getting fired.

If you toggle with Ctrl+T will it still crash? (I can't reproduce it)

Thanks.

What if you disable visualizations and third-party plugins?  That log still shows SDK access.

Thanks for helping troubleshoot.

Confirmed! Switching to any empty Playing Now with any viz other than coverart crashes MC for me also.

Could someone give an exact step-by-step to reproduce this?

We can't make it happen.

Thanks.

1. Create 3 zones.
2. Make sure playing now has something to play in zones 1 and 3 but leave 2 empty!
3. Enable any viz - say, clean info
4. Goto zone 1 and hit play.
5. Press Ctrl-T to switch to zone 2 (which is empty).
6. Crash!

just to test i made a new library on an old machine from me running windows 2000 with mc11,1,174. i putted one song in the library. made 2 zones, one with the dirt simple viz in playing now, and that one song. the other playing now empty. no problems. installed 185. crash!! as i said before and raym also, it is important that the second playing now is empty!
