Please forgive if this has been discussed, I could not find with search. I would like the "Recently Imported" playlist to show the most recently imported files first in the list as default. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Chuck.

Don't know if this is what you're looking for but I did View -> Customize Current View and down in the lower-right corner of the resulting dialog, there's an area labelled "Sorting". I clicked on Add -> Z-A -> Date Imported. This ordering persists across restarts of MC for me.

You should see a column heading "Seq" - probably the leftmost column unless you have reordered the columns or removed seq no. That sequence number is in assigned in order of importing (or ripping.) Right now, your list is probably ordered with the lowest sequence number (oldest) first.
You may see a an up arrow and the number "1" beside Seq. Click on that column once and the arrow will change to a down arrow and the list will be sorted with highest sequence number first. If you don't see an up arrow to start, click twice.

Thanks for the quick responses.
Shortie, your solution worked fine, but when I restarted MC the "Recently Imported" playlist was no longer in the list. :-\
I will see what happens the next time I import some files. Thanks, Chuck.

You may have this option selected:
Tools > Options > General > Advanced > Clear "Recently Imported" playlist on exit

Alex, you are correct, as usual (always?)! ;) Thanks.

OK, works perfectly now! ;D
Using shortie's suggestion with help from Alex.
